The life and career of George Burns spanned 100 years. In the play written by Rupert Holmes the story is told through the use of spoken word and projected video. As the story unfolds the screens come alive with imagery from all parts of George’s life. The imagery is all full motion video beginning with a pan down the streets of the Lower East Side of New York and ending with an animated portrait of Gracie Allen. Critics have said that the design gives an “enhancing presence” to the people from the life of George Burns.
